What is road traffic safety?

What is road traffic safety? what is the significance of it in the Eritrean context? Do we need to spend so much time and energy to discuss road traffic safety in Eritrea while we have many other issues we should be focusing on? The questions are many and we will in due course try to answer all. Let’s start with the first: What is road traffic safety? In today’s digital world, the first readily available source of information is said to be Wikipedia – the free encyclopedia. We can talk at length about how much of what we read in the Wiki is true or false, etc.. But for the sake of simplicity, let’s focus on our subject and read what the Wiki says  – after all, it is a fair introduction to the topic.
